United Nations Warns US Medical Marijuana Violates International Law

Every year the United Nations‘(UN) International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) publishes an annual report, addressing their efforts to control international drug policies. This board of foreign policy makers has the opinion that the United States is being inappropriately managed by our government and is transgressing international conventions and guidelines.

Raymond Tans, president of the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) reported US Attorney General Holder, promised him the federal prohibition on the cultivation and possession of medical marijuana would be enforced. Now Tans is warning Washington to take measures to stop Colorado and other states from legalizing the medicinal or recreational use of medical marijuana.

This behavior reveals why the US government protects multi-national, “special” interest groups and their shareholders. Obviously the INCB feels economically threatened by competition the medical marijuana and the hemp industries will create for them. Large multinational organizations have the financial leverage to manipulate our economy and control US industries to shield their own monopolies within the so-called “free” marketplace. The question is, “Why should we, the American voters, continue to allow international cartels to interfere with the prosperity and wellbeing of our sovereign United States?”

Legalization of the medical marijuana and the hemp industries will create a new economic model, which will make the older, inferior model obsolete, and this hits the opposition where it counts, in their global wallet.
