Nevada Gov. Approves Medical Marijuana Dispensary Law

After a 13 year wait, medical marijuana patients of Nevada will soon have a easy and legal way to obtain medical marijuana without having to cultivate it themselves.

Republican Gov. Sandoval signed SB374 into law this week. The measure establishes the framework to make medical marijuana available to patients. There will be strict requirements for growers and dispensaries. There will also be provisions to continue to allow home cultivation until 2016.

Any remaining revenue from dispensaries will be funneled to improve education.
