Governor Charlie Baker has ended the Massachusetts ban on e-cigarette vape products, but has kept the ban on certain marijuana vape products. Flavored e-cigarettes, including menthol, remain banned. A cap of 35 mg of nicotine per milliliter has also been set.
When it comes to marijuana, only vape products using flower (dry herb vaporizers) will be allowed for the time being, according to Boston Magazine. It is unknown if, or when, vapes used for marijuana concentrates will become legal again.
The Cannabis Control Commission will decide how to proceed with vaping products made for concentrates.
