Now that recreational marijuana is legal in Massachusetts, lots of residents are learning to grow. A class was held in Sunderland for over 30 people. The class was held at the Easthampton Community Center.
Marty Klein taught the class and has over 40 years experience in the industry, according to WWLP 22 News. The goal of the class is to teach residents how to grow high-quality marijuana. The class went as far as showing residents how to order seeds online, maximizing their harvests and how to setup a proper grow space.
The newly created Committee on Marijuana Policy plans to look over the current recreationaland make changes as needed.
The residents attending the event learned how to maintain their allowable 6 plants per person – maxing out at 12 plants per household. Some attendees support efforts to curb drugged driving. One attendee said, “Don’t Drive High.”
